Install Multi Spring Mechanical Seals In Centrifugal Pump
1. Never put hands on lapped Multi Spring Mechanical Seals faces or put lapped seal parts face down on the workbench.
2. Keep the Multi Spring Mechanical Seals in its original container until ready for installation.
3. Before install the Multi Spring Mechanical Seals, please Clean and inspect pump parts.
4. Replace shaft or shaft sleeve and gland if worn in secondary sealing areas under o-rings, Teflon wedges or Teflon rings.
5. Check for good starting bevel and remove all burrs that would cut secondary seal o-rings or cause misalignment.
6. Check shaft run out, shaft end play, stuffing box face alignment and condition of bearings.
